5 Tips for Healthy Skin

We all want that beautiful, glowing skin, don’t we? It is such a coveted thing, and we believe it may be too hard to achieve. On the contrary, healthy and swoon-worthy skin is easier to achieve than we think. Today I am going to give you five super simple tips that you can easily incorporate into your daily routine. Plus, since we are all stuck in quarantine, now is the time to totally “glow up!”

First tip: Sunscreen

Seriously, this stuff makes such a difference, you don’t even know. Whether you are in the winter or summer months, sunscreen is a must. UV rays aka the sun is the single biggest cause for aging skin. The sun causes wrinkles, simply put, so why wouldn’t you do the simple thing and just protect your skin with facial sunscreen.

Second tip: Vitamin C

So, we have definitely talked about this one before, but it deserves to be reiterated. It helps brighten the skin… literally it helps it glow. Also, it helps promote collagen production which helps give you that bouncy and full looking skin.

Third tip: Antioxidant-rich foods

Yep, this one doesn’t even require you to apply any special, high-dollar product to your skin. Literally just eating your fruits and veggies improves your skin immensely! Foods such as kale, spinach, blueberries, oranges all help protect and better the skin. Heck yes!

Fourth tip: Hydration!

This has to be one of the most repeated and worn rules of them all, and by now you would think it wouldn’t have to be said. Does this help with glowing skin? Oh, you betcha. Drinking enough water every day is the only way you’ll be able to reach your full skin potential. No matter the products you use, hydration trumps them all.

Fifth and final tip: Sleep

Oh, not what you were expecting? Once again, the secret to great skin really isn’t a secret at all. This a basic principle of health truth be told. You absolutely need your beauty sleep. Nobody was exaggerating when they called it that. Sleep essentially equals beauty. Enough said.
