Well, they aren’t lying to you… you need it for both your overall health and skin. This vitamin is important for creating collagen, which helps keep the skin firm, bouncy, and resistant to damage. Citrus fruits, bell peppers, tomatoes, broccoli, and other greens are abundant in Vitamin C.

     3. Vitamin D

Otherwise known as the “sunshine vitamin,” Vitamin D is crucial to fighting infections and therefore helps prevent acne! The easiest way to get it is actually just by going outside to soak up the sun, but in the winter that can be difficult! Fortified milk and breakfast cereals can provide you Vitamin D, but the most natural sources are mushrooms, fish, and eggs.

The food sources that are most known for their source of Vitamin K are cabbage, kale, and milk. So, be sure to eating plenty of them to get those nutrients in your body!

The last vitamin we will discuss in Vitamin B5. It functions as a skin hydrating vitamin, giving the skin a full and smooth look. The vitamin helps prevent water loss in the skin and promotes a better functioning barrier of the skin. By eating plenty of whole grains, avocado, and chicken, you too can prevent skin water loss.
